This Privacy Policy explains how GiftMwah LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use TVivia (the "Service"), including the host screen and the player controller. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Game information you enter: the display name and avatar you choose when joining a game, your answers, votes and any "bluff" answers you type during a game. Please don't enter your full name or other personal information as a display name.
- Anonymous identifiers: to connect your phone to a game, we create an anonymous identifier through Google Firebase Authentication. We don't ask for your email, phone number or password.
- Device storage: we use your browser's local storage to remember preferences on your device, such as your display name, avatar, the last room you joined, the host's game settings and which questions have been shown recently so they aren't repeated.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting and database providers automatically receive information such as IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested, as part of delivering the Service and keeping it secure.
- Communications: if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
How we use information
- To run games: connecting players to a room, showing names and scores, and scoring answers.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Service.
- To display advertising that keeps the Service free.
- To respond to your messages.
Game rooms, names and answers are temporary. They are shared with the other people in the same game, and we may delete them at any time after the game ends.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

We use trusted providers to run the Service, including Google Firebase (hosting, anonymous authentication and real-time database) and Google AdSense (advertising). These providers process information on our behalf or under their own privacy policies, such as the Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- You can clear your browser's local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings.
- You can leave a game at any time. The host can also remove players.

Data retention and security
We keep game data only as long as needed to run games and operate the Service. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
